This Indenture made this Seventoonth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred and thirty Nine Between James Chambers of Trenton in the County of Hunterdon and province of New Jersey Cooper of the one part and Andrew Reed of the town County, and province aforesaid of the other part Witnefseth that the Said James Chambers for and in Consideration of the Sum of twenty three pounds Eight Shillings and Ninepence Current Money of New Jersey to him in hand paid by the Said Andrew Reed the receipt Whereof he the Said James Chambers doth hereby Acknowledge and Confefs and thereof and of Every part thereof doth Acquit Exonerate and Discharge the Said Andrew Reed his heires Exrs Admrs (heirs, Executors, Administrators) and afsignes by these presents hath Granted Bargained Sold alined remised (best guess) released and Confirmed and by these presents doth fully freely and Absolutely Grant Bargain Sell alien remise release and Confirm Unto the Said Andrew Reed in his actual pofsefsion now being by Virtue of a bargain and Sale to him thereof Made for one whole year by Indenture bearing date the day next before the day of the date of these presents and by force of the Statute for transferring of Uses into pofsefsion and to his heires and Afsignes for Ever all that Dwelling House and Lott of Ground Situate in Trenton aforesaid and butted and bounded as followeth (to wit) beginning at a Stone Stands near the bridge in Kings Street on the Ease Side of Said Street and by William Plasketts Corner and runs along the Said Street North thirteen Degrees East one hundred and Twenty Two foot to a Stone for a Corner Thence upon a Square Eastwardly one hundred and Ten foot thence to make a Square Southwardly Sixty feet to William Plasketts Line In or near a run of water Thence along the Said lines to the first Mentioned Stone Standing by the Said Street and all other buildings Orchards Gardens Lands Meadows Commons pastures feedings woods ways paths waters Easments profits Commoditys advantages Emoluments and hereditaments Whatsoever to the Said house lott of Land and premises belonging or in Any Wise appertaining or which now are or formerly have been accepted reputed taken known Used Occupied or Enjoyed to or with the Same or as part parcel or Member thereof or of any part thereof and also the reversion and reversions remainder and remainders rents ifsues and profits of all and Singular the Said premises above Mentioned and Every part and parcel thereof and Also all the Estate rights title interest property Claim and demand whatsoever as well in law as in Equity of him the Said James Chambers of in and to all and Singular the premises above mentioned and of in and to every part and parcel thereof with the appurtenances and also all Deeds Evidences and Writings touching and Concerning the premises hereby Granted or any part thereof To have and To hold the Said house and Lott of Land and all and Singular the premises above Granted and Every part and parcel thereof Unto the Said Andrew Reed his heires and Afsignes for Ever to the only proper Use and behoof of the Said Andrew Reed his heires and afsignes for Ever and the Said James Chambers for himself his heires Exrs & Admrs doth Covenant Grant and Agree to and with the Said Andrew Reed his heires Exrs Admrs and afsignes that he the Said James Chambers now is the true Lawfull and rightfull owner of all and Singular the above Granted Premises and of Every part and parcel thereof with the appurtenances and also that he the Said James Chambers now is Lawfully and rightly Seized in his own Right of a good Sure and absolute & indefezable Estate of Inheritance in fee Simple of and in all and Singular the Said premises above Granted with the appurtenances without any manner of Condition Mortgage Limitation or Use and ufses or other matter Cause or thing to Alter Change Charge Revoke or Determine the Same and Also that he the Said James Chambers now hath good right full power and Lawfull Authority in his own right to grant bargain Sell and Convey all and Singular the above Granted premises with the Appurtenances Unto the Said Andrew Reed his heires and Afsignes to the only proper Use and behoof of the Said Andrew Reed his heires and afsignes for Ever According to the true intent and meaning of these presents and Also that he the Said Andrew Reed his heires and afsignes Shall and may at all times for Ever hereafter peaceably and quietly have hold Occupy pofsefs and Enjoy all and Singular the above Granted premises with the appurtenances without the let trouble Hindrance Molestation Interruption and Denyall of him the Said James Chambers his heires and afsignes and of all and Every other person and persons whatsoever and that freed and discharged or otherwise well and Sufficciently Saved and kept harmlefs and indemfsifyed of and from all former and other bargains Sales gifts grants leases Mortgages Jointures Dowers Uses Wills Entailes fines ifsues Amerecaments Seizures bonds Annuitys Writings Obligator recognizances Extents Judgments Executions rents and Arrearages of with and of and from all other Charges Estates rights titles troubles and incumbrances whatsoever had made Committed done or Suffered or to be had made Committed done or Suffered by the Sd James Chambers or any other person or persons Whatsoever Claiming or to Claim by from or Under him them or any of them and further that he the Said James Chambers and his heires and all and any other person or persons and his and their heires any thing having or Claiming in the Said premises above mentioned or any part thereof by from or Under him Shall and will from time to time and at all times hereafter Upon the reasonable request and at the Cost and Charges of the Said Andrew Reed his heires and afsignes make do and Execute or Cause or procure to be made done and Executed all and Every Such further and Other Lawfull and reasonable act and Acts thing and things device and Devices Conveyance and Conveyances in the Law Whatsoever for the further better and more perfect Granting Conveying and Afsuring of all and Singular the above Granted premises with the appurtenances Unto the Said Andrew Reed his heires and afsignes to the Only proper Use and behoof of the Said Andrew Reed his heires and Afsignes for Ever as by the Said Andrew Reed his heires or afsignes or his or their Councill learned in the Law Shall be reasonably devised advised or required In Witnefs Whereof the partys to these presents have hereunto
