This Indenture Made the fifth day of November In the Year of our Lord one thousand feven Hundred & Sixty five Between Elijah Bond late of Trenton in the County of Hunterdon In the Province of Jew Jersey Innkeeper But Now of the Township of Nottingham in the County of Burlington In the province afs’d (aforesaid) and Mary his Wife of the one part and Ruth Beadles of the same place Spinster of the Other part Whereas Samuel Burge of the City of Philadelphia In the province of Pennsylvania By his deed of Bargain & Sale bearing date on or About the twenty Eighth day of October In the Year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred & forty Six for the Consideration therein Mentioned Did Grant, Bargain & Sell unto the afs’d Elijah Bond A Certain piece or Lott or Meadow Called or Known by the Name of the Seventh Lott Situate Lying & being In Trenton In the County of Hunterdon Afs’d Beginning at a Post Standing by the two Rod Road being Corner to Lott No (6) And Runs from thence Along said Road North fifty eight Degrees thirty Minutes East five Chains to a post Corner to Elijah Bond being Lott No (8) thence along of the same South thirty one degrees thirty Minutes East ten Chains to a post Corner to said Lott Thence South fifty Eight degrees thirty Minutes West five Chains to a post Corner to said Lott No (6) Thence Along by the same North Thirty one Degrees thirty Minutes West ten Chains to the place of Beginning Containing five Acres To Have & to Hold the S’d five Acres of Land unto the s’d Elijah Bond his Heirs & Afsigns To the Use & Behoof of the s’d Elijah Bond his Heirs & Afsigns forever And Whereas Also David Martin Esq’r (Esquire) formerly, Sherriff of the County of Hunterdon afs’d By his Deed bearing Date on or about the twentieth day of February In the Year of our Lord One thousand feven hundred & forty three for the Consideration therein Mentioned Did Grant Bargain Sell Convey & Confirm unto the afs’d Elijah Bond A Certain Other Lott or piece of Land or Meadow Lying & being in Trenton In the County of Hunterdon afs’d Beginning at a tow Rood Road, Running along by the Swamp Lotts being Corner to the Seventh Lott and Runs from thence Along the s’d Road North East fifty Eight Degrees thirty Minutes five Chains to a post Corner to the Ninth Lott then by the same South East thirty one degrees Thirty Minutes Ten Chains to a post Corner to said Ninth Lott Thence South fifty eight degrees thirty Minutes West five Chains to said Seventh Lott Then by the same North Thirty one degrees thirty Minutes West ten Chains to the place of Beginning Containing five Acres of Land To Have and to hold the said five Acres of Land Unto the s’d Elijah Bond ^his heirs & Afsigns To the Only proper Use & Behoof of the s’d Elijah Bond his Heirs & Afsigns forever as by the deed Last afs’d Refference being thereto had Will More fully Appear And Whereas Also Joshua Anderson of the County of Hunterdon afs’d by Deed or Deeds Bearing date On or About the twenty Ninth day of July In the Year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred & forty five for the Consideration therein Mentioned Did Grant Bargain Sell Convey and Confirm Unto the Afs’d Elijah Bond & his heirs One Other Certain Lott or piece of Land Lying & being In Trenton In the County of Hunterdon afs’d Beginning at a Stake in a Line of Land late James Trents deceased & on the East Side of Queen Street and Runs from thence Along said Street South three degrees West five Chains & Sixty five Links to the Lott formerly William Yards deceased Thence Along the same North Seventy five degrees East ten Chains & forty Links to a Stone Thence ~~~~~~~~~~~~~North three degrees West Six Chains & A half to the Line of said Trent Then Along the s’d Line to the place of Beginning Containing Six Acres of Land To have & To Hold the Lott of Land Last Mentioned unto the s’d Elijah Bond his Heirs & Afsigns To the Only proper Use & Behoof of the s’d Elijah Bond  his Heirs & Afsigns forover by the same deed Refference being thereto had Shall & Will More fully Appear Now This Indenture Witnefseth That the s’d Elijah Bond and Mary _ _ his Wife for and in Consideration of the Love & Affection they bear unto the afs’d Ruth Beadles and for & In Consideration of the Sum of five Shillings Good & Lawfull Money of New Jersey to them In hand by the s’d Ruth Beadles paid The receipt Whereof the afores’d Elijah Bond & Mary his Wife Do Hereby Acknowledge and thereof Do Acquitt Release & Discharge the afs’d Ruth Beadles her Heirs Executors & Adminifstrators forever Have Granted Given Bargained Sold Aliened Enfeoffed Released Conveyed & Confirmed And by these presents Do Give Grant Bargain Sell Alien Enfeoff Release Convey & Confirm unto the afs’d Ruth Beadles and to her Heirs & Afsigns forever All those the Three Several pieces & Lotts of Land Afs’d so as afs’d purchased by the afs’d Elijah Bond of the afs’d Samuel Burge David Martin & Joshua Anderson and herein before more particularly Described Together With All & Singular The Houses Edifices & Buildings thereon Erected Ways Waters Water Courses Lights Easements proffitts & Commodities Improvements Hereditaments & Appurtenances Whatsoever to the Three Lotts of Land afores’d in any wise Appertaining And All the Estates Right Title Interest Property Claim & Demand Whatsoever of them the s’d Elijah Bond and Mary~~ his Wife Either in Law or Equity of in to or out of the Promifses & Every part & parcell thereof With the Reversion And Reversions Remainder & Remainders thereof Rents Ifsues & proffitts thereof And Also All the deeds Evidences & Writings In the Custody or power of the s’d Elijah Bond & Mary~~ his Wife Which Concern the Lotts & pieces of Land herein before Granted Only To Have and To Hold ~~the Three Several Lotts or pieces of Land afs’d And all & Singular the before Granted & Bargained promisses Unto the s’d Ruth Beadles her Heirs & Afsigns To the Only Use & Behoof of the s’d Ruth Beadles Her Heirs & Afsigns forever And the said Elijah Bond for himself & the s’d Mary ~~ his Wife Both Covenant promise Grant and Agree to and With the s’d Ruth Beadles her heirs and Afisgns and to & with every of them In Manner & form following That is to Say That for & Notwithstanding any Act Matter or thing by them the s’d Elijah Bond & Mary~~~his Wife or Either of them done or Wittingly Suffered They the s’d Elijah Bond & Mary ~~ his Wife Have a Good Right full power and Lawfull & Abfolute Authority To Grant Bargain & Sell the three Lotts & pieces of Land & Meadow afs’d with their Appurtenances Unto the s’d Ruth Beadles Her Heirs & Afsigns In Manner & form afs’d And that the s’d Ruth Beadles her Heirs & Afsigns for & Notwithstanding Any Such Matter or thing as aforesaid Shall Lawfully or May Peceably & Quietly hold Occupy Pofsefs & Enjoy the Before Granted premisses and every part & parcell herein before Conveyed or Meant or Intended to be Conveyed And that free & Clear and freely & Clearly Exonerated & Discharged from All former & Other Grants Bargains Sales Leases Jointures Dowers Wills Entails Judgments Executions & Incumbrances Whatsoever had made or Suffered by them to s’d Elijah Bond & Mary ~~~his Wife or either of them and that he the s’d Elijah Bond the three Several Tracts or pieces of Land & All & Fingular the Beforo Granted promifses Hereditaments & Appurtenances Unto her the s’d Ruth Beadles her Heirs & Afsigns To the Only Use & Behoof of the s’d Ruth Beadles & her Heirs & Afsigns Against them the s’d Elijah Bond & Mary ~~~his Wife and All Other porsons Whatsoever Claiming or to Claim by from or Under them or any  of them Shall & Will Warrant & forever defend And Lastly That they the s’d Elijah Bond and Mary~~~his Wife and their Heirs and All person or persons Claiming by from or under them or any of them At the Reasonable Request Costs & Charges in the Law of the s’d Ruth Beadles her Heirs & Afsigns Shall & Will Make Do Execute & perform all Such Acts deeds & Devices Whatsoever for the further & Better Conveying Afsuring & Sure Making of the three pieces or Lotts of Land afs’d, Granted or Intended herein & hereby to be Granted and All & Singular the Hereditaments & premifses unto the s’d Ruth Beadles her Heirs & Afsigns forever as by the Counsell of the s’d Ruth Beadles or her heirs & Afsigns Shall be Reasonably Devised Advised or Required So Always that the same Contain No further or Other Warranty Than is herein Contained In Witnefs Whereof the parties to these Presents have Interchangeably Set their Hands & Seals the Day & Year first Above written –
