This Indenture made the Twenty and ninth Day of January in the Third year of Reign of our Sovereign Lord George King of Great Brittan France & Holland (best guess)& c.(etcetera) and in the year of our Lord one Thoufand Seven Hundred and Twenty and nine Between James Trent of Trenton in the County of Hunterdon in the province of New Jersey Esq’e (Esquire)on the one part and John Bainbridge of the Said Trenton and County aforesaid Esq’e on the other part  Witnefseth that the Said James Trenton for and in the Confideration of the Sum of Fourty five pounds Lawfull money of America to him in hand paid the Recipt hereof he doth hereby Acknowledge and thereof do acquit and discharge the Said John Bainbridge his Heirs Ex’ & Admi’s (Executors & Administrators) for ever, By thefe profents have Granted, Bargained, Sold, Aliened, Enfeofed and Confirmed and do by thefe profents Grant Bargain Sell, Alien Enfeoff & Confirm unto the Said John Bainbridge his Heirs Ex’s Admin’s and Afsigns one Tract of Land, Situated laying and being in the TownShip of Trenton above said Bounded as followes Beginning at a Corner of the Said John Bainbridges Lott formarly belonging to Will’m Hope (best guess) thence running North Eaft twenty two Degrees Twenty Nine Chains and twenty nine Links to a Small Black Oak for a Corner thence South Eaft fifty two Degrees two Chains forty Links thence, South, South woft Twenty Nine Chains and Twenty Nine Links thence North woft fifty two Degrees five Chains and forty Links to where it began Containing Fifteen Ackers be the Same more of lefs together with all and Singular the Said premifses, Hereditaments, appurtenances whatfoever unto the Same belonging or in any ways appertaining unto the Said John Bainbridge his Heirs and Afsigns for ever To have and to Hold the above xxx promifses heredi’s & appurtance whatfoever unto the Same belonging or in any ways appertaining unto the Said John Bainbridge his Heirs & afsigns to the only proper ufe and behoof of him the Said John Bainbridge and his Heirs Ex’s Admin’s and Afsigns forever and the Said James Trent Doth Grant Covenant and agree for himfelf his Heirs Ex’s adm’s and afsigns the Said Lands hereby granted unto the Said John Bainbridge his Heirs and afsigns agaift the Said James Trent his Heirs and afsigns and againft all other porfons whatfoever laying any maner of Claim Shall and will warrant and Dofond forever by thefe prefents and the Said James Trent doth Covenant for himfelf and for his Heirs & afsigns to and with the Said John Bainbridge his Heirs and afsigns at the time of the Enfealing hereof hath in himfelf full power & Lawfull authority to Grant Bargain & Soll the bereby granted Lands and the Said John Bainbridge his Heirs & afsigns Shall at all times hereafter have free and quiet pofsefsion of the Said Lands without the trouble let or hinderance of the Said james Trent his Heirs and afsigns or any other porfon whatfoever And it is agreed of the Said James Trent & his Heirs and afsigns Shall and will at any time Hereafter at the Reafonable request and proper Chargos in the Law of him the Said John Bainbridge & his Heirs and afsigns make Execute and acknowledge all act and acts, Deed & Deeds for the better Confirmation of the above Grant unto the above Names John Bainbridge his Heirs and afsigns as by him or them or by his or their Council Learned in the Law Shall be reafonably xxx, Advifed or Required In Wittnefs whereof the parties first above mentioned have Interchangably Sett their Hands and Seals Datted the Day and Year above written
