Know all Men by thefe Prefents that I Jacob West of Greenwich in the County of Sufsex in the State of New Jerfey am held and firmly Bound unto Potts & Downing of Trenton in the County of Hunterdon and state aforefaid in the full sum of One hundred and forty five Pounds eight fhillings Current Gold or Silver Money to be paid unto the Said Potts & Downing or either of them their certain Attorney Heirs Executors Adminiftrators or Afsigns and for the true payment thereof I do bind myself my Heirs Executors and Adminiftrators firmly by thefe Prefents Sealed with my Seal and Dated the seventeenth Day of January in the year of our Lord one thoufand Seven hundred and eighty three----1783-

            The Condition of this Obligation is such that if the above Bounden Jacob West his Heirs Executors Adminiftrators or either of them shall well and truly pay or caufe to be paid unto the above named Potts & Downing or either of them their certain Attorney Heirs Executors Adminiftrators or Afsigns the just and full sum of Seventy two Pounds fourteen Shillings of like current Gold or Silver Money with Lawfull Interest for the same and that on or before the seventeenth Day of January next infuing the date hereof then  this prefent obligation shall be void and of none effect otherwife to remain in full force & virtue
