To the Honourable, House of Representatives of the Province of New Jersey.

The Petition of the Inhabitants of the Burrough of Trenton,

Humbly Sheweth,

That your Petitioners being duely Sensible of the great Advantages Arising to this Province, from a ready and Quick Intercourse, Between the Several parts of the same, Have by a Voluntary Subscription raised a Considerable Sume of monoy Towards Building a Bridge over Croswicks Creek, whereby the way to Burlington, will be rendered much more Convenient and Shorter by Several Miles, than it now is, Besides a great many conveniancies to the Inhabitants of Trenton and Bordon Town, In particular when by reason of ffrosts, or great ffreshes, The Trenton Boats many Times Cannot Come up any Higher.

                        May it Therefore please this Honourable Houso to Order a Bill, forgiving leave to Build a Bridge over the said Croswicks Creek in the County of Burlington, on Such Conditions, and under such Limitations, as to this Honourable House in their great Wisdom shall seem Meet, And your Petitioners (as in duty Bound) shall ever pray &c.
